BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR ($50)

Course Description:

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals.

Course Length: Approximately 3 Hours

At the end of this course, students will receive an AHA CPR card. American Heart Associate CPR cards are valid for 2 years from date of issue.

This course is taught to the new 2010 CPR Guidelines. The book used for this course was published in 2010. Older versions of this book will not be sufficent for this course.

BLS for Healthcare Providers - Skills Session ($30)

This is a skills session for students who have ALREADY completed the BLS for Healthcare Providers Online Part 1.

Upon successful completion of Part 1, including the online written test, a Part 1 Certificate of Completion is available for students to print. This certificate must then be presented for parts 2 and 3, the hands-on skills practice and testing session* with an AHA BLS Instructor. Students will receive an AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion card, issued by their Instructor’s Training Center, upon successful completion of all three parts.

Successful completion of this course includes three (3) parts:

  • Part 1, online portion

  • Part 2*, a hands-on skills session with an authorized AHA BLS Instructor

  • Part 3*, a skills test with an authorized AHA BLS Instructor

Heartsaver CPR & AED ($40)

Heartsaver First Aid ($40)

 The Heartsaver First Aid training program is for any individual with limited or no medical training who needs to provide basic care to an injured person in the critical minutes before the arrival of emergency workers. Non-health worker such as office employees, construction works, police officers, teachers & personal trainers, who require a first aid certification can benefit from this program.

 

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - Initial ($175)

Course Description:

Medical providers who respond to cardiovascular emergencies in and out of the hospital enhance their treatment abilities through the American Heart Association’s Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) training. From basic life support to advanced interventions and from airway management to pharmacology and more, professionals hone their skills to save lives. 

Course Length: Approximately 8 Hours

At the end of this course, students will receive an ACLS Provider Card.

 Course Description:

Medical providers who respond to cardiovascular emergencies in and out of the hospital enhance their treatment abilities through the American Heart Association’s Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) training. From basic life support to advanced interventions and from airway management to pharmacology and more, professionals hone their skills to save lives. 

Course Length: 4 Hours

At the end of this course, students will receive an ACLS Provider Card.

Note: This is a RENEWAL course. If you do not currently posses a valid ACLS Provider card, please take the FULL course.

 

This course is taught to the new 2010 ECC Guidelines. The book used for this course was published in 2010. Older versions of this book will not be sufficent for this course.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support - Initial ($175)

 Course Description:

The PALS course gives healthcare professionals the knowledge and skills to better recognize and treat critically ill infants and children. The course uses a scenario-based, team approach to teach pediatric emergency management of pediatric patients approaching or already in respiratory or cardiac arrest. The course covers treatment beyond the first few emergency minutes and goes through stabilizing patients or transport phases of a pediatric emergency, in or out of the hospital.

 

Duration: One Day Approximately 9 Hours

Friends & Family CPR - Free Course

 This Course is a FREE American Heart Association CPR Course. 

Description from American Heart Association:

The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only® CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.

Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card in CPR for their job. This course is ideal for schools and students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.

NO certification will be issued in this course. This course is for the general public, not healthcare workers.
